  • Color:

    Ruby red color with vibrant violet reflections.

  • Aroma:

    Floral aromas resembling violet, geranium and jasmine, evolving into notes of red fruits such as blackberry, black plum and blueberry. Throughout its stay in the glass also reveals notes of spices, licorice and chocolate.

    A truly harmonious composition in the mouth presents excellent body and ripe tannins. An authentic and provocative wine, like the unusual union of these grapes.

  • Winemaking:

    Soil and microclimate: Granitic-sandy soil, low organic matter content and excellent drainage. Vineyard: The vineyards are managed by means of the espalier system, reaching a production of 1.5 kg / plant and planting density of 4000 plants / ha. In order to obtain the correct vegetative balance of the plant, green prunings are applied to the vines and the production of grapes per plant is also reduced. Harvest: manual with selection of bunches in the vineyard. Winemaking: Elaborated from the Touriga Nacional and Tannat grapes, the grapes are identified through the mapping of plots of soil to compose a wine of unique originality. The fermentation occurs in stainless steel tanks, following the traditional winemaking system, with a pre-fermentative maceration is carried out in the cold for about 72 hours. A total maceration was made during a period from 14 to 22 days, for the extraction of the compounds present in the peels. The wines are vinified separately and blended after malolactic fermentation and decantation, the percentage of each wine is defined and the assemblage remains for another 12 months in the tanks until bottling. This wine performs at least 4 years of thinning in the bottle before being launched to the market. The wine is not filtered in order to keep its natural characteristics intact.
